Apple resellers are in a MacBook Air price war, driving M2 & M3 models down to as low as $849

Save up to $400 on MacBook Air models.

Both M2 and M3 MacBook Air models are heavily discounted this week, resulting in deals as low as $849.

Apple resellers, including Amazon, Best Buy and B&H, have dropped the M2 MacBook Air 13-inch to $849, matching the previous record low price seen in March for the standard model that features an 8-core GPU, 8GB of memory, and 256GB of storage.

This particular configuration is geared toward the budget-conscious user that would like to enter the Apple ecosystem or add a secondary ultraportable laptop to their existing setup. With 8GB of memory, it's less about future-proofing your purchase and more about saving money with this limited-time offer.

Both the 13-inch and 15-inch M3 lines are on sale, with exclusive discounts offering up to $150 off every set of specs in our Mac Price Guide. Models can be configured with up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage — enough for the MacBook Air to serve as a daily driver for many.

Those looking for the most bang for your buck can also snag an upgraded closeout M2 15-inch MacBook Air at up to $400 off at Best Buy today. This loaded configuration with a 10-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD is especially enticing at $1,499 ($400 off MSRP). At press time, you can pick it up in Midnight, Starlight or Space Gray with free store pickup within an hour at select store locations. Best Buy's site indicates store inventory is limited and with Mother's Day on May 12, it's likely many store locations will run out of stock for same-day pickup.
